Don't Blame Capitalism!
In an honest system, Capitalism works just
fine. In Capitalism, a man gets to keep and enjoy what he honestly works
to earn. That's not what we have in the United States today. Instead, we
have a rigged economy that uses funny-money. Our fiat money system is
not backed by anything of value. Prior to 1913 our U.S. money was backed

How Government is
to Blame for Poverty and Homelessness
Hell will be hot enough
for the ungodly thieves to blame for poverty and homelessness across
the world...
The
central bank does not create anything real; neither resources
nor goods and services. When it creates money it causes the
price of transactions to increase. The original quantity theory
of money clearly related money to the price of anything money
can buy, including assets. When the central bank creates money,
traders, hedge funds and banks — being first in line — benefit
from the increased variability and upward trend in asset prices.
Also, future contracts and other derivative products on exchange
rates or interest rates were unnecessary prior to 1971, since
hedging activity was mostly unnecessary. The central bank is
responsible for this added risk, variability, and surge in asset
prices unjustified by fundamentals.
The banking sector has been able to significantly increase its
profits or claims on goods and services. However, more claims
held by one sector, which essentially does not create anything
of real value, means less claims on real goods and services for
everyone else. This is why counterfeiting is illegal. Hence, the
central bank has been playing a central role as a “reverse Robin
Hood” by increasing the economic pie going to the rich and by
slowly sinking the middle class toward poverty.

As
Congressman Ron Paul (R-Texas) continues to grow in popularity
with his recent success in Iowa and New Hampshire, much more
attention has been focused on the libertarian ideas he
represents. Liberals sympathize with his opposition to foreign
wars and defense of civil liberties but question his support of
free market economics and his criticisms of domestic welfare
programs like Medicare, Medicaid, and Social Security. Without
these government programs, liberals ask, how will the poor get
taken care of?
It’s easy to see why progressives think that without a big,
activist government providing essential social services, the
world would likely look like a Dickensian nightmare. After all,
for most of human history, poverty has coexisted next to a
wealthy minority. Textbooks may tell us of noble governments
protecting the public from the excesses of the market, but the
poverty and exclusion evident throughout history, and
unfortunately still very much a part of today’s world, can
frequently be traced precisely to government intervention
itself.
Licensing laws, zoning regulations, minimum wage laws, and many
other restrictions raise the cost of being in poverty and make
it much more difficult for the poor to enter the labor market
and start their own business. The Federal Reserve destroys the
value of the dollar, harming those with the least amount while
subsidizing big banks and big corporations. Governments use
“eminent domain” laws to force people out of their homes in
favor of rich land developers and politically-connected
industries. A look back in history reveals that more often than
not, governments tend to centralize wealth, protect the
interests of the rich, and pay lip service to looking out for
the little guy. Food stamps are nothing compared to the welfare
large corporations receive.
Larger programs like Medicare and Medicaid also show the harmful
effects of government intervention on the poor. Despite being
implemented with the best intentions, the costs of medical care
have skyrocketed while the level of access has either remained
stagnant or fallen. Sectors of the economy that have far less
government intervention and regulation, like computers and
electronics, have the exact opposite result as the market drives
down prices and increases quality.
It seems that government often breaks your legs, especially of
those with the least amount of power and control over policy,
and then hands you the crutches while convincing you of its
necessity.
Before America was saddled with the debt, dependency, and
opportunity costs associated with the welfare state, mutual-aid
societies did a far better job of taking care of the poor than
government welfare. These fraternal organizations were not
charities per se, but private associations of individuals. Those
who chose to join would voluntarily pay membership dues in
return for a defined schedule of benefits, which, depending on
the society, could include life insurance, permanent disability,
sickness and accident, old-age, or funeral benefits. And because
they were private and thus more immune to bureaucracy, the
annual fee was usually about a single day’s paycheck.

A Lesson From The Lord About
The Importance Of Money
It's interesting that Jesus entrusted Judas, a
known thief (John 12:6), with the money bag. Of all 12 disciples, Jesus
gave the money to the one who couldn't be trusted.
Why did Jesus put Judas in charge of the money? It's because it was the
least important job! Jesus' ministry was so not-money-oriented that He
took the guy that He knew was a phony and said, “Here, you handle the
money!” Money is the thing that matters the least to God.
Sadly, the thing that
means the least to God
we often value the most. Why do you think Heaven's
streets are made of gold? God made gold rare here on earth, but
plenteous in Heaven, to teach us a lesson.
Jesus didn't care about money. So many people
worship money. Jesus was concerned with pleasing the Father, preaching
the gospel and helping others. Money meant nothing to the Lord, but it
meant everything to Judas. The Lord gave Judas what meant so much to
him. The love of money was the root of all Judas' problems.
As believers money should be the LEAST important
thing to us. Amen!

not against buying gold, not at all; I'm against fearmongering the

their metal content. The entire

people on the great investment of gold, while the greatest investment of
laying up treasures in Heaven is completely ignored. I even hear
so-called pastors zealously promoting the sale of gold, while never
saying a word about the Gospel. It's apostasy! Soul-winning (preaching
the gospel) is more important. Receiving Christ as your personal Savior
is most important. All the gold in the world means nothing if you're
unsaved and hellbound in your sins. With Heaven in view, and the
shortness of this temporal life, buying gold is a shallow investment.
You can't take any of it with you when you die!

sure that you invest most of your time, money and resources in getting
people saved, laying up treasures in eternity as the Lord commanded

Americans,
living in what is called the richest nation on earth, seem always to be short of
money. Wives are working in unprecedented numbers, husbands hope for overtime
hours to earn more, or take part-time jobs evenings and weekends, children look
for odd jobs for spending money, the family debt climbs higher, and
psychologists say one of the biggest causes of family quarrels and breakups is
"arguments over money." Much of this trouble can be traced to our present
"debt-money" system. Too few Americans realize why our founding fathers wrote
into Article I of the U.S. Constitution: Congress shall have the Power to Coin
Money and Regulate the Value Thereof.
They did this, as we will show, in

MONEY IS MAN'S ONLY "CREATION"
Economists use the term "create" when speaking of the process by which money
comes into existence. Now, creation means making something that did not exist
before. Lumbermen make boards from trees, workers build houses from lumber, and
factories manufacture automobiles from metal, glass and other materials. But in
all these they did not "create," they only changed existing materials into a
more usable and, therefore, more valuable form. This is not so with money. Here,
and here alone, man actually "creates" something out of nothing. A piece of
paper of little value is printed so that it is worth a piece of lumber. With
different figures it can buy the automobile or even the house. Its value has
been "created" in the true meaning of the word.
MONEY "CREATING" PROFITABLE
As is seen by the above, money is very cheap to make, and whoever does the
"creating" of money in a nation can make a tremendous profit! Builders work hard
to make a profit of 5% above their cost to build a house.
Auto makers sell their cars for 1% to 2%
above the cost of manufacture and it is considered good business. But money
"manufacturers" have no limit on their profits, since a few cents will print a
$1 bill or a $10,000 bill.
That profit is part of our story, but
first let us consider another unique characteristic of the thing - money, the
love of which is the "root of all evil."
